Quick-EDD/OPEN
|
High Availability for open servers: Windows, VMware, Linux, UNIX, Mac...
The software solution Quick-EDD/OPEN virtualizes your storage. Then, the latter can be used by any of your application servers.
Quick-EDD/OPEN becomes the unique controller of your whole storage, present and future, whatever its vendor and technology.
Quick-EDD/OPEN manages in real time the replication of the data of your primary storage to a secondary storage. If the primary storage or a network component fails, there is an automatic fail-over on the secondary storage; this is transparent for the application servers, the production goes on without any downtime.
With Quick-EDD/OPEN, your whole storage becomes one pool. Its blocks will be allocated on demand to each application server: just enough storage, just in time!
The storage use is optimized and you can add disks without stopping the application servers: it’s the thin provisioning.
Quick-EDD/OPEN facilitates the Disaster Recovery thanks to the Snapshots (point-in-time copy of the data) and to the asynchronous mirror : replication of the data on a remote site – recovery site, other production site.
This guarantees to you the protection of the data of your company if your production site stops, whether it’s planned or not.

Quick-EDD/JRN
|
The « black box » of the IBM System i
Your IBM system i is reachable by the IT team, providers (manufacturers, editors, consultants…) and your users.
Even if your IBM System i provides securities for access, procedures… you’re not protected against usage mistakes, embezzlement, penetration – voluntary or not, on confidential data of the company.
Quick-EDD/JRN allows to track all the operations made on your system, alert you and take all the necessary measures.

|
Quick-EDD/CTL
|
Your IBM System i protector
Regulation about internal control (Sarbanes-Oxley, HIPAA, BASEL II, C-198, PCI, 21-CFR …) hardens and makes penally responsible the managers and the administrators of the quoted in the Stock Exchange companies and the financial firms, if they do not implement the means to secure and to audit their information system. The responsibility of the IT management can also be involved by delegation.
Quick-EDD/CTL protects your data, regardless of the mean of access: it watches and controls external accesses to your IBM System i, along with all the OS/400 commands and the SQL instructions.

|
Covers all the needs for the security of your IBM System i. Through journal technology, it replicates in real time on a remote IBM System i all the database updates and all the object modifications made on the production system.
Quick-EDD/HA includes dynamic monitoring between the source and target systems, so as to trigger, if necessary, the alert procedures or switch of applications and users to the back-up system.
The creation of a journal on the target is not mandatory: if there is no journal, our Synchronization tool, which is unique of its Type, will take over the restoration of the source during the return to the production system: system resources are thus spared, this return can be programmed quietly whilst continuing to work.
The unequalled performance of Quick-EDD/HA and it low machine usage allow the installation of a crossed back-up.
Finer settings allow the replication of all or part of the database or of the objects; you can thus implement solutions with "back-up to multiple machines" (3 or more…)
